OUR PASTORS
Before coming to New Beginnings Taos to serve as Senior Pastors in 2015, Pastor Kevin and Crystal Miller spent time as Associate Pastors in charge of Youth Ministry in New Beginnings in Los Alamos, NM campus.
OUR BELIEFS & MISSION
New Beginnings is an Assemblies of God Church. We believe and follow the "Statement of Fundamental Truths" which contains the 16 doctrines of the Assemblies of God. These are non-negotiable tenets of faith that all Assemblies of God churches adhere to.
Four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing and the Second Coming of Christ are considered Cardinal Doctrines which are essential to the church's core mission of reaching the world for Christ.

Meet Our Pastors
Kevin and Crystal met in college. After they married, they moved to Las Vegas, NV where they began serving in children's ministry at Canyon Ridge Church. Their son Aedin was born there. They moved to Los Angeles, California where they continued to be active in ministry and where their daughter Skyelar was born. Another move found them in Atlanta, GA where they ran the children's ministry at Christian City Church and where they were blessed with their son, Lief.
God led them to move to Los Alamos, NM and to New Beginnings Fellowship in 2010. Kevin spent time as an associate pastor in charge of youth ministry before becoming the campus pastor at the Taos campus in 2015, and Senior Pastor as of 2019.
What to Expect
When you walk through the door...
Come a few minutes early and enjoy the doughnuts and fresh coffee! There will be people to welcome you, help you find the nursery or Discovery Kidz, or answer any questions you may have.

What should I wear?
We are a group of believers who love God and love people! When you walk through our door, expect to be welcomed and accepted. Come dressed however you feel most comfortable. We are more interested in YOU than what you are wearing.

What are the messages like?
Our pastor really strives to deliver a Biblical message that is relevant to your everyday life. Whether in e-form or tree-form, we believe the Word of God is engaging, understandable, and applicable. Don't have a Bible? Come anyway and we can show you where you can get one!
What is the worship time like?
Our live band leads a worship experience that is modern, energetic, and Christ centered. The band members are passionate about Jesus Christ and the difference He has made in their lives.

Do you have something for my children?
We have nursery available for children ages 6 mo - 3 years old.
Discovery Kidz is a fun, engaging, enthusiastic experience for your little ones to learn about a BIG God! It is for children 4 years - 6th grade.
We make every effort to keep your children safe and secure. You will be asked to sign your child in when you drop them off, and sign them out when you pick them up. You will be given a wrist band with a number, in case we need to find you during a service.
You are also more than welcome to keep your children with you during the service, if you prefer.

Will I be asked to give money?
We firmly believe that giving tithes and offerings is an act of worship between a believer and God. This ministry is fully funded by the faithful giving of believers but if you are visiting, we want you to feel absolutely no obligation to give financially.
